Common Questions

Hi there! Have some questions about our church? Find the answers below.

  • WHAT DOES A SUNDAY MORNING LOOK LIKE?

When you enter the doors of Antioch for a Sunday morning worship service you will be warmly welcomed by the Antioch church family. Our services include singing the great hymns of faith from the past balanced with some of the best modern worship music.  We observe communion each week in our services, spend time in corporate prayer, and listen intently to God’s message through His word, the Bible.

  • WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?

1100 Antioch Church Rd. Watkinsville, GA 30677

  • WHAT DOES ANTIOCH HAVE FOR MY KIDS?

Antioch believes that children and youth are an important part of our ministry. Kids Pre-K through 5th grade are welcome to join us on Sunday morning for children’s church. Our youth group is for ages 6th grade - 12th grade. They meet on Sunday evenings for a time of fellowship and small groups. In the summer, we offer different programs for the youth and children. Some of these include: Youth Camp, VBS, Day Camp, and other events to keep students engaged throughout the summer.

For more information about our children’s programs, visit our Children’s Page.

  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

On Sunday mornings, you can find people wearing anything from jeans and a t-shirt to a suit or dress. We believe that God cares more about you than about how you look, so wear what makes you comfortable and join us!

  • ARE THERE ACTIVITIES DURING THE WEEK?

During the week we have Wednesday Night Youth Service and Kids Connect.  This is our mid-week bible study that features bible lessons that are age appropriate and engaging. We also provide a meal for students and leaders. On Sunday nights the student ministry has service. This is a great time of fellowship and discipleship. These nights include a meal, message, and small groups. We will also host a myriad of events that can span throughout the week.

  • HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

When you put your faith in Jesus, repent of your sins, and are baptized by immersion into Christ, you can let one of the ministers or elders know of your desire to become a member of Antioch. Membership is a partnership you have with the church to accomplish God's work in our world.
